Jesse Eisenman, MD  obtained his undergraduate degree in Mathematics (Phi Beta Kappa), from the University of Delaware in 1980. Dr. Eisenman went on to obtain his Medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in 1984. Subsequent to his graduation, Dr. Eisenman completed his residency in Internal Medicine, at St. Louis University Hospital. During his time in St. Louis, Dr. Eisenman was an active member of the American Medical Association. In 1989, Dr. Jesse Eisenman completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Florida Health Science Center, Jacksonville Florida. While in fellowship Dr. Eisenman performed clinical and pharmaceutical research in the area of Chronic Esophagitis and Type II Histamine Blockade. Upon his graduation from fellowship, Dr. Jesse Eisenman relocated to West Palm Beach, Florida to become the founding partner of Eisenman & Eisenman, MD in 1989. In the last 20 years of practice in the West Palm Beach area Dr. Eisenman has served the medical community through his membership on multiple hospital committees including Medical Ethics and Nutrition via his affiliations with Good Samaritan Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital, Wellington Regional Medical Center, Palms West Hospital and JFK Hospital. Dr. Eisenman’s interests include the treatment of inflammatory bowel Disease and Hepatopathology.  Apart from the practice of Gastroenterology, Dr. Eisenman participates in the county and state amateur golf championships and is a classic car enthusiast.

 


 

dr2Richard Eisenman, MD received his BA in Biology from the University of Delaware, Magna Cum Laude. While at the University of Delaware, Dr. Eisenman excelled in sports as well as academics, as a member of the Varsity Soccer team. Following his graduation, Dr. Eisenman went on to complete his medical education by receiving his MD from Jefferson Medical College, in 1987. Subsequently, Dr. Eisenman matriculated to University of Michigan, Ann Arbor for his internship and residency. During his residency Dr. Eisenman was very active in endoscopic research, specifically Pneumatic Dilation in Achalasia. In 1990, Dr. Eisenman went on to fellowship at Northwestern University (Chicago, IL) where he focused on Gastroenterology and Advanced Endoscopic Techniques. He further sub-specialized in Biliary techniques from 1992 to 1993 at Northwestern University. Dr. Eisenman completed investigational studies and case reports in the areas of Biliary Manometry, Porcine Bile Stability, Biliary Ascarias, and an In-vitro Biliary Stent Occlusion Model. In 1993 after completing fellowship Dr. Eisenman joined his brother in practice in West Palm Beach, Florida. Dr. Eisenman has conscientiously served the Wellington and surrounding areas for the past 17 years. His current interests remain in the area of advanced endoscopic procedures.  Dr. Eisenman’s outside interest include traveling, reading, wine appreciation, and yoga.

 


 

dr1Cathia Rene, MD joined the Gastroenterology practice of Eisenman and Eisenman, M.D (Lake Worth, FL) in January of 2010. Prior to her coming to the West Palm Beach area of Florida she served as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, at the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL). During her tenure, she helped to found the Pelvic Floor Program at the University of Florida, a multi-disciplinary program of surgeons, gastroenterologists and therapists, focused on diagnosing and treating pelvic floor pathology. Dr. Rene received her MD from Brown University (Providence, RI) in 2001. She then went on to Boston University Medical Center where she completed her residency in Internal Medicine, 2004. She spent a year as an Attending in Internal Medicine at Brockton Hospital (Massachusetts). Dr. Rene went to the University of Florida as a Gastroenterology/Hepatology as a fellow in July 2005 and completed her training in June 2008. During her fellowship she completed the Advanced Postgraduate Program in Clinical Investigation as well as served as the Chief Fellow in GI. Her areas of focus in Gastroenterology have been Motility and Pelvic Floor Pathology. Dr. Rene spends her time outside the office traveling internationally, reading, and running.
